Ananey-Paramount’s series “Out of Service” Selected to Pitch at Conecta 2024

Conecta FICTION & ENTERTAINMENT is an international professional market focused on television content, both scripted and unscripted, positioned within the top 10 international tv markets in the audiovisual industry. This year’s event will take place in Toledo, Castilla-La Mancha (Spain) on June 18-21, 2024.

Besides panels, keynotes, workshops and networking, the event features a prestigious pitching program of carefully curated selection of projects in development, including a category for international co-production projects for TV series or mini-series.

Ananey-Paramount’s original series “Out of Service”, created by Omer Goldman and commissioned by HOT, was accepted to the 2024 edition of the Co-pro Pitch session, and will be pitched on stage in Toledo in June.

“Out of Service” follows beautiful and privileged pacifist Eli, who is sent to military prison for refusing to join the Israeli army. The series takes place within the IDF ‘s women-only prison – the only prison in the world where female prisoners and guards are all under the age of 23. The inmates are as multicultural as the Israeli society. Eli also happens to be the daughter of the Head of Central Command, who abandoned her and her mother in favor of a new family. She attempts against all odds to utilize every second of her time in prison to prove her pacifistic beliefs. However, this turns out to be much more difficult than she thought.

Conecta 2024 Copro Series Pitch will be held on June 20th in Toledo.
