yes announces it will air Band of Spies, a gripping new international spy drama created by Amir Mann (Fauda) and starring Dror Keren, Oz Zehavi, Maor Schwietzer, alongside a stellar ensemble that includes Hisham Suliman (Fauda), Amir Boutrous, Daniel Gal, Ohad Knoller, Diana Golbi, Loai Nofi, Yaakov Zada-Daniel, and more.

The international espionage series was produced by Paramount’s Ananey Studios and Archery Pictures, and will have its world premiere in Israel on yes this September.

Directed by Lawrence Gough and Bálint Szentgyörgyi, Band of Spies is inspired by real events and centers on Israeli Mossad agents as they pursue members of Black September – the Palestinian group responsible for the brutal murder of 11 Israeli athletes at the 1972 Munich Olympics – while facing deep moral and personal consequences.

The series opens with Black September’s brutal attack on the Israeli delegation in Munich, which sets off the Mossad’s first targeted assassinations across Europe. But as these two mortal enemies engage in a deadly pursuit, the motivations and consequences of their actions are gradually revealed, exposing the tragic cost of the war on terror and the personal and political complexities faced by everyone involved.

On the Israeli side, Head of the Mossad Zamir (Keren) grapples with difficult moral questions, navigating between the ruthless tactics of veteran Mossad agent Mike Harari – who sets off with his team to hunt down those involved in the massacre – and the political demands of then-Prime Minister Golda Meir.

On the Palestinian side, Abu Iyad (Suliman) – a family man and PLO leader – struggles to control Ali Hassan Salameh, the reckless and unrestrained operations commander of Black September. But as the operations intensify, moral boundaries blur and the human toll rises – culminating in a daring Mossad operation in Beirut, while the cycle of violence continues to expand.
