Israeli Horror Series ‘The Malevolent Bride’ From ‘Fauda’ Scribe Finds Streaming Home

EXCLUSIVE: Israeli horror series The Malevolent Bride has found a streaming home.
The series from Fauda writer Noah Stollman, Oded Davidoff (The Beauty Queen of Jerusalem) and Avigail Ben-Dor Niv will premiere on Jewish streamer ChaiFlicks tomorrow.
Starring Tom Avni (Image of Victory, HBO’s Valley of Tears) opposite transgender actress Leeoz Levy in her first leading role, the show follows a rash of inexplicable, violent crimes in the Mea Shearim neighborhood. After the crimes, secular physicist Be’er and religious psychologist Malki Price go on a hunt for the mysterious Yedidia Shatz, whose dark, brilliant madness is spreading like a virus among the women of the community. Rounding out the cast are Hisham Suliman (Fauda, Tahrir) and Maya Wertheimer (The New Black).
The show comes fom Paramount’s Ananey Studios and A+E Studios and orignially aired on Israeli broadcaster Kan 11. ChaiFlicks calls itself the “world’s largest streaming platform dedicated to Jewish content,” with more than 3,000 hours worth of content.
