StreaMix Acquires Three Standout Titles from Paramount’s Ananey Studios
Global streaming platform StreaMix has acquired three titles from Paramount’s Ananey Studios: the supernatural dramas Fireflies and The Malevolent Bride, and the travel-food series Street Food Around the World. Under the agreement, Fireflies will stream in the U.S., The Malevolent Bride will be available globally excluding Latin America and Israel, and Street Food Around the World will stream worldwide.

Fireflies, set to stream on StreaMix in the U.S., takes place in a quiet desert town where residents begin to mysteriously combust. At its center is Mimi, a mine-clearance instructor who believes the cause is not physical but tied to a haunting phenomenon from her childhood – one in which intense loneliness can ignite a deadly inner flame. Together with her childhood friend Dikla, now a police officer, she sets out to uncover the truth behind the growing threat.
The series launched in Israel on HOT and has since aired on Paramount+ across more than 10 territories in six languages, continuing to expand internationally.
The Malevolent Bride, co-produced by Paramount’s Ananey Studios, A+E Studios, and KAN 11, will stream on StreaMix globally (not including Latam and Israel). A modern ghost story set in present-day Jerusalem, the series follows the hunt for a vengeful spirit terrorizing a Hasidic community. An unlikely duo – a Hasidic psychologist and an agnostic young physicist – join forces to uncover the origin of the malevolent entity, as their investigation challenges their beliefs and draws them into a dark and dangerous world.
The series first launched on Israel’s KAN 11 and has since been sold to Fawesome TV and Chaiflicks.
Street Food Around the World, set to stream globally on StreaMix, follows host Ishai Golan as he travels from Mexico City to Paris and Bangkok, exploring street food cultures with humor and curiosity. A co-production with Voyage and Kayenta Productions, the series has aired on channels and platforms including Netflix, National Geographic and AMC.
