KFAR AZA – 95% HEAVEN

Based on over two years of intimate, continuous filming, Kfar Aza – 95% Heaven offers a rare and deeply human portrait of kibbutz Kfar Aza – a community that became a symbol of both devastation and rebirth after the October 7 attacks.
The series delicately and intimately follows the lives of the survivors – people striving to rebuild their community, preserve their family and social bonds, and above all, reclaim their sense of home.
At its heart are Ori and Ayelet Epstein, who lost five members of their family, including their son Neta, who heroically jumped on a grenade to save his fiancée, Irene. Their personal odyssey mirrors the larger struggle of Kfar Aza itself: where, and to what, do they return – if they choose to return at all?
At its core, this is an allegory of trust, heartbreak, and awakening – a story of a community that, against all odds, insists on finding life again amid the ruins.
