When Dana, the daughter of two police officers and a theatre major, becomes the sole witness to a violent murder at her high school, her life is upended. With the killer, a play director named Ronen, on the loose, Dana is placed in the Witness Protection Program. In a twist of fate, she finds refuge in the home of an ultra-Orthodox family, immersing herself in their unfamiliar customs, traditions, and beliefs. Struggling to adapt to this new environment, Dana must conceal her secular background while navigating the complexities of the religious community. As she forms bonds with the family’s three children – Hani, Eliyahu, and particularly with Rabbi Rabinovitch and his wife Rabbi Miriam – Dana is confronted with a stark realization: everything she thought she knew about the world is challenged.
