REMNANTS

Following her sister’s tragic and violent death in the October 7th attack, 14-year-old Rona is overwhelmed by pain, anger, and a profound sense of loss. As her school prepares for the National Memorial Day ceremony, Rona perceives it as a superficial gesture meant to help everyone move on and let her sister’s memory fade. In response, she decides to take an extreme course of action.

In that moment, she meets Oren, who, much like her, wrestles with grief after his father was killed when he was a little boy; but unlike her, Oren guards a hidden truth: he has no recollection of his father. Their unexpected bond compels them to confront their pain, their memories, and their families. However, it also sets the stage for a painful confrontation in the moment of truth.
